"THE THEATER"
I will never have another movie experience like I did on Wednesday. Never!
I am not a huge movie going individual but to see Superman on opening night at the world famous Grauman's Chinese Theatre was an opportunity that couldn't be passed up.
This place is freakin spectacular. It is the grand slam of all movie theaters. It's the Mount Everest of seeing a movie. Watching a movie else where is like playing in Triple-A baseball. You know, that you are happy to be playing professional baseball but you are not in the majors yet. If you never see a movie at this place, then you haven't never experienced movie watching at it's peak. It's stunning!
You walk into a vast arena of 2200 seats in front of screen that is out of this world huge. I don't know how huge but, man, it's big and impressive. You can essentially feel the history that surrounds that place when watching a movie there. There is really a sense of awe when you step foot inside the place.
The cost for the ticket was $11.25 while a small popcorn was $4.25 but the experience made up for the overpriced concessions.
As for the movie, it was awesome. Watching it with a 2,000 Superman fans was just awesome. I have never been to a movie were there was just so much "extra energy" in the room. Amazing stuff!
