BATMAN ATTACKS!

This might end up being the story of my 10-weeks out here ...

(Deep breath, here we go)

On Friday evening four of us went down to Hollywood Blvd. were all the "cool movie stuff" is like the Walk of Fame, the Chinese Theater among other things. In front of the famous Chinese Theater there are a bunch of people dressed up as a variety of movie characters from Star Wars, Scream, Batman, X-Men, Freddy and just whatever. They are dressed up so people take their pictures with them.

Two of us got our picture taken with Batman and everything was cool and we all got a good laugh at the ordeal. It was just kind neat, you know.

The group of us continues on our walk down the Walk of Fame and after about a 1 1/2 blocks we notice that Batman is following us. What in the world is he following us for?!?! We walk another block and he is still following us. Ok, this is getting creppy at this point. So we cross over to the other side of the street and Batman decides he is going to meet us (or confront us).

None of us are sure what is going on UNTIL he starts dropping a whole bunch of curse words at us. I am totally confused but I know that Batman is ticked off so I just tell everyone to stop talking to him and walk away. Well, Batman follows us for a block just cursing and screaming at us. No real idea why he is angry.

Having no clue what is going on, we duck into a local coffee shop to get away from him. Batman doesn't go into the coffee shop but he decides to stand outside and wait for us with his arms folded. Someone from the group says, "I think we were suppose to tip him for the picture." I'm thinking that can't be the only reason he is upset. Just no way!

So get this ... the two people who got their picture taken with him give two dollars to the girl working at the coffee shop so she will give it to him. Batman won't take the $2 from the coffee shop girl so the two people who had the picture with Batman, give him the $2. Batman says, "This isn't from your heart, so I don't want it."

WHAT ARE YOU KIDDING ME!??! ... He rips the $2 into four pieces and some random homeless guy comes along and grabs the $2 as it falls to the sidewalk! Un-freakin-real!!

He was harassing us over a lousy lack of tip that we didn't know about!?!? Come on, Batman Michael Keaton would not be proud! Granted, I can laugh about this now because nobody got hurt but be sure to tip Batman next time!
